Sensing & interfacing

We have  expertise in the development of techniques and methods, based on micro- and nanotechnology, for the sensitive and selective detection of molecular compounds. Nanosensors have several benefits in sensitivity and specificity over sensors made from traditional materials

We focus on the development of a “proof-of-principle” sensor concept towards an actual demonstrator, specific for an application. That can be either based on, among others, nanophotonics, bio-electrical sensing, electrochemical, or “label-free” sensing. Included here is the development of the sensing interface in terms of affinity coating, sensor control and readout.
