Webinar Biomimicry "Share Nature's vibe"

Thursday October 22nd, an interesting webinar on Biomimicry "Share Nature's vibe" will be organized as part of the Dutch Design Week, which this year will be in a virtual format.

One of the speakers in this Biomimicry webinar is Martin Bennink, who will discuss some of the results we have obtained in the NanoBio group in studying nanostructures of biological structures using electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy. Goal is to understand how these nanostructures lead to the interesting properties that these surfaces have such as being anti-wetting, self-cleaning and antibacterial.
